Understand How Promoter Works

📋 What This Guide Covers

This guide explains what promoters are, how they work inside Turbo Referrals, and why they are valuable to your dealership. You’ll learn how promoters help generate new leads, how they are connected to Team Members, and what actions you can take to manage them. By the end, you’ll know how to use promoters to your advantage, create steady streams of trusted leads, and drive more sales with less effort.

📋 How Promoter Works

Promoters are customers who bring your dealership new referrals. Any customer can sign up as a promoter for either the dealership as a whole or for a specific Team Member.

When a customer signs up as promoter, they receive their own referral link. This link is automatically connected to the dealership or the Team Member they chose. The referral page shows dealership information or Team Member details, depending on how the promoter registered.

Each referral link also displays 🎁 Referred by [Promoter Name] so that anyone opening the link can see who shared it. This creates trust, friends and family are more likely to click through and start shopping when they see the recommendation came from someone they know.

When someone uses a promoter’s link to shop or reach out, that lead is automatically connected back to both the promoter and the linked Team Member or dealership. This ensures credit is always tracked in the portal and every referral is tied to the right source.
