Understand How Leaderboard Works

📋 What This Guide Covers

This guide explains how the leaderboard works inside Turbo Referrals. You’ll learn what the different leaderboards show, how scores are calculated, and how results reset each month. By the end, you’ll understand how to use the leaderboard to motivate Team Members and Promoters, track performance, and keep your referral program competitive and fun.

📋 How Leaderboard Works

The leaderboard is a live ranking system that tracks referral performance for both Team Members and Promoters. It updates in real time as new traffic, Promoters, Leads, or Sales are generated.

The leaderboard runs on a monthly cycle. On the 1st of every month, all scores reset to zero so everyone has a fair chance to climb the rankings again. At month’s end:

  • The leaderboard is locked to preserve results.

  • A summary email with the final standings is sent to all Team Members on the 1st of the following month.

Turbo Referrals provides three leaderboards:

  • Team Leaderboard: Ranks all Team Members in the dealership.

  • Promoters Leaderboard: Ranks all Promoters across the dealership.

  • My Promoters Leaderboard: Shows only the Promoters linked to you.

How Scoring Works

Team Members earn Turbo Points (TP):

  • Sales = 250 TP each

  • Leads generated = 100 TP each

  • Promoters recruited = 50 TP each

  • Traffic driven = 1 TP each

Promoters earn Turbo Points (TP):

  • Sales = 250 TP each

  • Leads generated = 100 TP each

  • Traffic driven = 1 TP each

💡 Tips & Tricks to Help You Succeed

  • Celebrate top performers. Use monthly results to recognize Team Members and Promoters who made the biggest impact. A quick shout-out at a meeting or in a group message goes a long way.

  • Run contests. Tie dealership rewards or small incentives to leaderboard standings. For example, give a prize to the Team Member or Promoter with the highest points each month.

  • Promote healthy competition. Encourage Team Members to check the leaderboard regularly. The real-time updates help keep referrals top of mind and motivate users to push for better results.

  • Coach with data. Use the monthly point breakdown (traffic, promoters, leads, sales) to guide coaching conversations. If someone’s only generating traffic, help them learn how to convert more leads.

  • Keep promoters motivated. Share leaderboard standings with your top Promoters to keep them engaged and excited about growing their own score.

  • Highlight fresh starts. Remind everyone that points reset to zero each month. Even if someone fell behind previously, they get a new opportunity to climb the board.
