Understand How Team Member Works

📋 What This Guide Covers

This guide explains what Team Members are inside Turbo Referrals and the role they play in your dealership’s referral program. You’ll learn what Team Members can do and how their activity connects to Promoters. By the end, you’ll understand how Team Members contribute to building referrals, tracking activity, and closing more sales.

📋 How Team Member Works

Team Members are dealership users who have access to Turbo Referrals. Every Team Member is given their own personalized referral link, which is the foundation of how referrals are tracked and credited. When a customer signs up as a Promoter under a Team Member, all referral activity from that Promoter is tied back to that Team Member.

A referral link includes:

  • Team Member’s name and contact information

  • Dealership name and contact information

  • Team Member’s profile picture and bio

  • Dealership bio and location

  • Dealership inventory (if inventory display is turned on)

Team Members can manage everything directly from the Turbo Portal. In addition, they also have access to digital wallet cards, QR codes, and other sharing tools that make it easy to promote the dealership and track results. Depending on their role (Member, Admin, or Owner), they may also have different levels of access to dealership-wide tools and settings.

When a customer clicks a referral link, all of their activity is automatically tied back to that Team Member. If the customer reaches out through the link, the Team Member receives an email notification right away. This setup ensures that every lead is traceable to the person who helped generate it.
